Do you find it difficult to check your off page factors on your web page?
Google’s algorithm takes into account users’ interactions and experience with a website based on how long they stay on a page and what webpage in the search results a user clicks on. Your online presence goes way beyond your site. The problem is that we tend to forget how our online footprint may extend to all the different platforms we may try out at some point and then abandon. Seriously, what is worse than staring at a blank page waiting for it to load? The page speed is a huge ranking factor when it comes to search engines. Google’s latest update had a heavy focus on the user experience and site speed can undoubtedly affect this. This means that search engines look at page speed and provide ranking advantages to faster matches. Common sense, right? It turned out that featured snippets do drive traffic. For featured snippets, Google cites the source page in the spoken result and they provide a link to the page within the Google Home app, so people can click and learn more: Some business owners are content with learning about and implementing a few basic SEO strategies for their websites. This is a good start, but the full power and potential of SEO will never be fully realized.
Optimize your content around a topic, not around a single keyword
In most cases, SEO specialists don’t use 302 redirects when fixing the on-site qualities of a website. Instead, a 302 redirect is often used when they want to test a new page for client feedback but they don’t want to damage or change the old page’s rankings and history. Unsurprisingly, larger companies tend to outspend smaller firms when it comes to SEO. Don't go overboard with your internal linking or you risk overwhelming the reader. One or two relevant links per post is usually a good maximum, with more in longer posts. Quality content, in other words lots of original, error-free text organized well on a modern-looking website, is what matters most in terms of SEO that you can control. Since heading tags typically make text contained in them larger than
normal text on the page, this is a visual cue to users that this text
is important and could help them understand something about
the type of content underneath the heading text.
So, does true white hat SEO really exist?
Make sure every page of your site contains at least several hundred words of helpful, well-written, relevant content; and optimize all your title tags and meta descriptions while you're at it. SEO today is increasingly driven by natural language search, that is, people doing searches that are more like normal questions than two or three keywords. Paid results are auction priced advertisements & are produced for as long as the advertiser’s budget lasts relative to the cost per click they have paid for their targeted search terms. If you want to dominate the search results for certain keywords in paid search, you need to be willing to pay more money for each click than your competitors are willing to pay. Are internal links as valuable as external links? Modern SEO is about so much more than keywords and meta tags. Never have hyperlinks like "click here", hyperlinks should always be keywords, long hyperlinks with multiple keywords are even better.
Content is for humans
Gaz Hall, a SEO Expert from the UK, said: "When a bandwagon is this large and this loud, it’s just about impossible to resist jumping on." The more people who read your blog post, the more authority Google will deem it to have. And the more authority a page has, the higher it is likely to rank. So – get your post out there! Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram – whatever social media channels you use, share it on them. The truth is that working on the search optimisation for your website is not a guaranteed source of traffic. By putting out content, not only does it help you create brand awareness, foster relationships with customers and attract new ones, it also helps you stand out from the competition. Imagine the billions of webpages to be searched when a keyword is typed into the searchbox and the answer comes on your screen within a matter of minutes?
SEOs don't know if unnatural links work or not
If you want to generate traffic through search, it’s best to do keyword research before you start writing. This way, you can focus on keywords for which a certain amount of search volume already exists – in other words, write toward topics that people are already searching for information about. Humans are lazy creatures (That is probably the reason the ready-to-make food sell so much). They don’t have the patience to wait too long for anything. A faster loading website gives the user an amazing experience, which tempts him to come back again to visit your website. It acts like bait to them. Google doesn’t only consider on-page SEO score when ranking an article. It also takes into account many other factors like social media signals (shares, likes, tweets, follows, etc.), backlinks, domain authority, and many other off-page metrics. The more a site is appealing to humans, the more search engine like it. Websites with straightforward navigation tend to win over visitors than those with a messy URL structure and content organization. Producing low-quality content as fast as you can and sending it out en masse to as many article submission sites as possible has been looked down upon for some time.
A nofollow link can help Google to put your website into the right context
Search engines use alt text to identify the content of a page, since bots can only read text. Adding alt text to images lets search engines understand what the image is so they can include it in relevant searches. Backlinks are the fuel that drive the engine. But the actual work is done by the internal links that help visitors quickly and easily move to the content they want. We all know that search engines have been trying for years to decrease their reliance on links as a ranking factor. But they haven’t got there yet and I don’t necessarily see that happening in the next year or so. If your content fails to provide your users with any added value or to engross them, it will not help to
acquire leads and/or customers. It is impossible to predict how people will search for content and which
keywords they will use to do so. So, it is advisable to create content that can fully satisfy the users’ needs.
It is not just about the quantity (huge amounts of text); it’s more about the relevance of the content to
potential searches. Pick a niche that has a large enough appeal to give you a big market but at the same time, pick a niche that won’t be too competitive for you to make any dent in. Look for subject matters that cater to a specific audience and that people can really get passionate about.
